My name is Joana Leitoguinho, I'm from Portugal and I’ve recently finished my master’s degree in Fine Arts.I'm mostly interested in 2D Animation , Illustration, Comics, and now learning 3D animation with Blender as well.Looking for new learning experiences and fun challenges!

Just wrapped up an exciting role as a full-time Illustrator and 2D Animator at LiveSketching, where I created motion graphics, 2D animations, and designed posters live at events — such a rewarding experience that really helped me grow as an artist.At the same time, I completed a short evening course in 2D Animation with Toon Boom Harmony at Escape Studios, where I got hands-on with the full production pipeline: from learning the software itself, to rigging characters, animating scenes, syncing dialogue (lip sync), and building complete shots. It was intense but incredibly valuable, and gave me a strong foundation in industry-standard animation tools and workflows.Right now I’m diving deeper into 3D animation and modeling with Blender, and actively searching for opportunities in the animation and illustration industry. I’m really looking forward to joining a team where I can tell stories, create cool visuals, and keep leveling up.
